I’m actually happy about this trade. Bart sucks. With Endy doing what he has been and how great Davis has been behind the plate not necessarily hitting though, they’re a good combo. Stratton was good for us until he got hurt. So maybe he can be a cheap decent bullpen option.

Source confirms: The Pirates have dealt Triple-A LHP Joe La Sorsa to the Boston Red Sox for cash considerations.

La Sorsa, 28, activated his upward mobility clause and was offered to all 29 teams. He has a 3.46 ERA in 26 innings in Indy. Career 5.21 ERA in 46 MLB appearances.
