Serious gains on the live-session snapshot: append-only stream instead of a full rewrite per tick costs 117× less writes to disk, consumes 21× less CPU and becomes crash-safe per frame.

Interesting how happy agents can be in re-inventing the wheel. Instead of reusing components. Some tokens later, lesson learned.

In the end, test and implement in a loop gets you to a result. Would be curious to test very stupid local LLMs.

It's possible to generate UI from design, but from my own experience, it takes a few iterations which can all be part of a prompted loop anyway. Just takes longer than producing one solution would.

I remember trying to correct by guiding on "that color is off" or "that offset is wrong", sometimes even saying what values should be.

I remember prompting with example images as references and expecting a 100% match.

Having fun reviving a 15 yo project. It never shipped because we didn't know what MVP means and tried building a full solution instead.
