@RTNBA Ok now post how in g7 the Cavs had more field goals than the pistons on the same amount of shots, more rebounds, more offensive rebounds, more points in the paint, more fast break points, more assists, less turnovers, only one less three on 5 less attempts, more scp, and more POT
@IsaacOkoroFan They keep referring to the AI step over too because he stepped over Merrill, but the situation was completely different and Thompson’s step over wasn’t cool or anything to be proud of and they’re gushing over it. Makes no sense
@Motor2Cade2@KuKhahil When Cade actually attacks the basket and doesn’t settle for jumpers he gets foul calls at a normal rate. I don’t have the exact numbers but if I’m remembering correctly he only went for a contested layup twice in the entire first half of game 5 and he got fouled both times
First off… Ausar Thompson’s play on Donovan Mitchell to strip the ball at the end of regulation was not a foul. Clearly all ball.
HOWEVER… before Allen trips Thompson, Thompson clearly fouls Allen when he hits Allen’s arm and pushes it out of the way.
It’ll be interesting to see what the NBA says in their “final 2-minute” review. #Cavs #Pistons #LetEmKnow
@IsaacOkoroFan Thompson pushed Allen’s arm out the way before Allen made contact with Thompson. I know JB isn’t going to point that out, but I’m not tripping if I say that if there was a foul on Allen there should’ve been one on ausar first right?
@MrNikkiG Good point. I was thinking last night when you’re up by so much and strus and Merrill aren’t really hitting shots, playing Tyson over one of them would’ve been beneficial. Not complaining about Kenny though, he coached a great game overall. I also just really like Tyson’s game
@elitetakes_ Every game so far the home team has taken a big early lead which then the other team would come back and trade leads/make it close, just for the home team to close it out and win by multiple possessions
@racingtherainwx I think the fact that both fanbases thinks the refs were against them just shows how equally bad they were for everyone. There was no consistency from any of the refs for either team
@death2likes@SmellMyTomato@RealDCunningham You’re right but it’s inconsistent to how the game had been called. I’m also not saying it wasn’t an illegal screen but I’m just using it as an example as to why I think a 3 second would be called in OT
@SmellMyTomato@RealDCunningham They overturned a no call on an illegal screen that was less egregious than anything that had been happening prior to it in the series. I agree that OT should be more “just let them play” but they’ve been calling weak stuff late all series
@Kraig99@RealDCunningham I mean to be fair both of these calls are in favor of the raptors. It’s not the calls we thought they’d be but both are still against the Cavs
@karnsies817 ???????? Mobley was the only reason we were in a position to win the game. Schroeder shouldn’t have made that pass but Kenny should’ve called a timeout before he even had the chance to make that pass
