People talk about the "return the shopping cart" morality test, but I've got another one: you're in a group, taking up the width of the footpath and there's someone coming towards you. Do you proactively make space for them or do you carry on as though they don't exist?
๐ง ๐กMeritwitter: any "influencer" tweet is anonymised and shared with a random but broadly relevant selection of people who can rate its humour, originality and usefulness. If everyone thinks your tweet sucks, you're banned for a week or lose 10% of your followers.
@The_G_Files@thesamparr You want to know why he wouldn't use an exchange (after many exchanges lost customer funds) to short (a practice largely advised against) crypto (something highly volatile and unpredictable) just because he isn't "bullish"? Maybe you should short critical thinking skills
@rwieruch FYI there seems to be a left padding/margin issue cutting off some of the content, at least on Chrome on Android. Can't zoom out or side scroll to fix it

- communicate
- fail
- create
- gratitude
- help
- moderation

@jenistyping I made an account that I did my best to separate from my Facebook (no contact list access, different email, but same IP sometimes) and managed to get zero ads of any kind for two years! It was indeed amazing. This was only 5 years ago so not related to being an early user
no URLs. no usernames without the URL. no bypassing restrictions on URLs (like writing example dot com). no posting images with usernames in them.

Although I think this site's new owner is overrated, didn't think many things through, and has made things worse for employees, I reckon there's a solid 30% chance that Twitter does actually end up being more innovative now, and maybe even profitable. More broken, too, though? ๐
