Looking for anyone, anywhere with some free time to complete an online survey for my PhD project. The study explores different processes by which eyewitnesses can make decisions from lineups. I’d greatly appreciate any help. https://t.co/REvIG8DVdz Pls RT #ECUresearch#phdlife
Awesome resource led by @JkayFlake to collect videos of researchers explaining statistical tests they have used in their research. I've recorded one on equivalence testing for independent groups. Check the project page out and contribute. https://t.co/UvK1exdaEe

@_catemerson@IBDMD Yeah I totally agree! That discourse regarding whose most at risk isn’t really helpful when there are not any useful guidelines beyond the wash your hands, and avoid being sneezed on 😒 That’s certainly heightened my concern!
@_catemerson@IBDMD Oh I’m glad! Yeah I’ve been thinking of asking my Specialist the same regarding 6-MP as I’m also on infliximab. I’ve sort of held off cos he’ll probably tell me I’m worrying about something that’s not even a problem yet (in Perth). I am worried though 😅
@_catemerson Hi @IBDMD posted a thread regarding coronavirus and IBD a few days ago which might be worth checking out! He suggested 6-MP more so than biologics (inc Stelara) are associated with susceptibility to viral infections like Covid19. Not sure if this is helpful?!

So for those of you completing a PhD, next time you’re told that you might be overqualified for a non-academic job make sure to correct that person and say, “Actually I think I’m just better qualified”. 5/5
I have noticed, increasingly, that as I near the end of my PhD ppl feel the need to warn me that I’ll probably be ‘overqualified’ for a lot of non-academic jobs. To hear them talk, having a PhD makes you about as appealing to employers as a corpse in a sauna. 1/5 #Academicchatter
So what does it mean to be overqualified? The answer: Nothing! Being overqualified just means you’re qualified but possibly possess a greater number of skills at a higher level of proficiency than the average ‘qualified’ applicant. 4/5
