Dearest mother โ
The battleground has called for my glorious return. Iโm thrilled to say, I shall heed that call.
I have reenlisted.
While my sidearm is permanently holstered โ I shall help train other young men to be great soldiers. Please send care packages of squirrel oil and skunk cakes to our basecamp at Stanford. I love you.
โ Andrew
My phone hasnโt stopped ringing for the last 3 hours from texts and tweets about my boy Ben. Iโm truly overwhelmed by how many people he touched-and from the bottom of my heart thank you for sending your best wishes and letting me know how much you loved him. This has been a really tough day and all your touching notes and messages have really hit home. Thank you for taking the time to reach out and sharing such beautiful words about Ben. Appreciate all of you.
