@Catlin_Tucker Set up sustainable work practices and expectations for yourself long term. Make these clear to students by sharing what your boundaries are with them, particularly senior students. My students know when I’m available & that I am there for them but the lines aren’t blurred.
@KirstyCMacaulay Although it’s been really hard, I am so proud of how resilient my students have been. I put a lot of trust in them. They’ve just tried to do their best in a very strange & unique situation - I can’t have asked for more than that.
@kirkhamilton@strongsongs Listened to this episode today - 1st time listener. Loved it. I’m a Music teacher in Australia & can see how we could encourage students to really LISTEN using your explanatory method. So fascinating - looking forward to listening to more episodes soon!

@KirstyCMacaulay Learning what really matters in life: family & health. I will never take the physical classroom for granted again - I miss the kids so much. I think it’s renewed my love for the job. I am so very proud of all my students & how they’ve been so resilient, willing to learn & agile.
