Larger players been victims to refs swallowing the whistle throughout NBA history but what’s been happening with Brunson this series might be the first time I’ve ever seen a player be penalized for being smaller than everyone else. This being framed as frustration also hilarious
what is the mental block you dumb fucks have???
THE GAME ISNT BEING CALLED FAIRLY!!! the spurs can play physical and the knicks cant, are we watching the same games?
Victor Wembanyama is averaging 29 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and 1.7 steals per game this series.
But, all you’ll see is he’s being “dominated” in these NBA Finals.
The unfair standards fans hold him to is the problem with NBA discourse.
Wemby is having a terrific first Finals series at 22-years-old, and he and the Spurs are one win away from flipping the entire script, but everyone is quick to focus on his negatives.
Show some respect.
Refs let them inbound.
Knicks had a wide open 3.
Spurs had 6 on the court.
Tech on the spurs at least? Nah let's do a do-over but take away a second from the shot clock for no reason
the fuck are we doing man, this isnt a knicks vs spurs thing this is just people being complete losers bc they think its funny to record and post on social media
Victor Wembanyama is told at the podium that Spurs fans were attacked by Knicks fans outside of MSG:
"I am all for passion, but to the respect of each other. It's unacceptable."
I get Wemby is way taller than everyone else but that doesn’t mean players can just foul him and get away with it. He gets hacked every time he drives and the refs don’t call a foul half the time.
It’s unreal.
Someone needs to explain to me how Dylan Harper can walk onto the court to delay the game and we just go side out of bounds
It’s just baffling refereeing to me
Never thought I’d see the day where people crying about physicality IN THE FINALS.
This after crying about flopping for a month.
NBA twitter deadass just live to complain lol
Tim Legler pushes back on Mike Brown’s complaints about the officiating in Game 3
“I'm not seeing a one-way whistle. There's certainly going to be calls that are going to be missed either way. Here's the thing: this is so difficult to officiate because of the amount of physicality that's taking place all over the floor. So sometimes, and I said it on the air in one of the calls, it just seemed like a little selective on a particular play that you see a lot. Very difficult job for these officials. I don't think we were sitting there saying, 'Man, the Knicks are getting the short end of this over and over and over again.' Certainly you can point to certain calls throughout the game, but you could do the same thing for San Antonio.”
