ezekiel's treatment is prob a consequence of the "mean spirited beaverslop writing" that would become common in the 2010s, but while most stuff can get away with it because the show is a pure comedy, total drama has a semi grounded setting that makes it more sad than funny

this scene never fails to make me incredibly upset. it's so unnecessary to show Ezekiel quite literally starving like this. he has to eat presumably poisoned rat bait to just barely survive.

I genuinely don't know how the writers got a kick out of torturing him like this
