@newryhurler1@mcahalane29@Shane45935970 Semi final in 99 against Offaly on a wet day in Croke Park was a fantastic game of hurling. I think Brian Whelehan said it was the best they had played and they were still beaten by a young Cork team managed by God
@slaney_sider@ptadoh Which I did , along with 1000+ others. The exec committee decided (again) that they were going to prioritise volunteers. There was no Ticketmaster link (again).
@slaney_sider@ptadoh Being a member of a club (like I am) is not a guarantee of a ticket. Some clubs don’t even have a raffle amongst members for a portion of tickets. Demand is incredible
@odonoghuejames@tomholohan@MikeMoynihanEx@irishexaminer No longer a walk than Croke Park from bottom of O’Connell st or Thurles if you end up having to park up past the square. Could do with a bus service - up Monaghan Rd and back down centre park rd.
@DonaldClarke63 Problem with fiction these days is that there’s little originality imo. I’ve turned to reading non fiction or at least historical fiction for that reason.
@real_dublindamo Correct decision - had lost the dressing room as well. He looked a defeated man in the dugout after last Sundays game. Football is brutal.
