This is a landmark day for Scotland and for period dignity for all.
Grateful to MSP colleagues in all parties for their support for the Period Products Bill and all those campaigners who made the case for progressive change. #freeperiodproducts#perioddignity
So the likes of Tory MP Brendan Clarke-Smith think feeding poor children during school holidays is “nationalising”, meanwhile his party dishes out billions of £s like sweeties to its pals to fail, but Free School Meals is considered ‘virtue signalling’?
@NicolaSturgeon@scotgov Outrageous.
I worry about our young generation so much.
The young ones who have already been restricted and missed out on so many ‘normal’ things.
We must look after the children ❤️
We cant simply run more classes.demand is huge with long wait lists.i was running 3 class per day/five days before new restrictions & with downtime between & epic cleaning of kit at night it would be impossible to add more.#babyclassrestrictions@MareeToddMSP@MonicaLennon7
Great to hear @agcolehamilton raise the plight of parents, babies and pregnant women at First Minister’s Questions today. @NicolaSturgeon says she has asked officials for additional clinical advice. We need to find a way to support these classes. #FMQs

This *is* nonsense. Pubs, cafes, restaurants can get as many as they like in, so long as 1m distancing in place. Gyms are open. You can play team sports and go to dance classes. But baby classes are capped at 5 adults, no matter the venue size? #babyclassrestrictions 1/
🔊"I feel safer going to one of the classes than I do going to the supermarket"
Over 5000 people have signed a petition calling for an increase on the number of people who can attend parent & baby classes.
