Champions again!

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@bigbossmansteo Any screenshots of the former sports writer of the years account? Looks like he had an interesting day yesterday

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@Ryan16035493 @TheIrishKieran If they're ranked the same how is where they're from relevant?

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@noriordan Weird. It had the away one up earlier

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@pyjamas_black A man who has consistently proven not to be in tune with the national psyche is surprised most people are not of the same mind as him

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@obrien_jonathan Am I being to generous to think they have considered colour blindness?

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

Pico Lopes with a Paul McGrath Giants stadium style performance. So happy for one of the nicest people in football. A true Rovers legend

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@Robbie_OR @chippie1974 @seidodge I would guess it will be a Saturday match. If rovers win the cl first round fixture they could have a game on Tuesday so cant see it being a Sunday

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@bigbossmansteo English bohs?

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@bigbossmansteo What's he said now? Just checked his account to find it and had to stop after he said he's spending €300 for "a few hours" of ai usage.

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@pyjamas_black @bigbossmansteo He has been but I think he'd be screwed in the afternoon games heat.

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@bazlastmanback Thought pats midfielders were blessed not to be booked. Were hitting players late in the back after they had layed the ball off all game

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@bigbossmansteo Wouldn't be surprised if it's taken up by families with adult children at home. Don't see the appeal to anyone else

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@pyjamas_black @bigbossmansteo I'd go with Taylor, thought he was good against Portugal. In a nice twist on loi brain and even I'm not sure if I'm serious or joking but could do worse than Matt Healy. For example collins would be worse

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@hicksimon Im not an expert but it certainly sounds bad when you list it out there

[Michael Cox @Zonal_Marking]

Of course, pastimes have always declined throughout history. The question is whether rugby union will eventually be outlawed (like bear-baiting and cockfighting) or whether it will simply decline in popularity and become a funny relic (like Morris dancing or stamp collecting).

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@TheIrishKieran Loi clubs have rarely been in a position to offer these types of fees because of a lack of prize money and a broadcast deal as you know. But if such fees are spent in lower ranked leagues and they are still lower ranked maybe the fees aren't always what they're cracked up to be

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@bigbossmansteo The loi fan behaviour is covered by the scales and Kenny defence. It's got it all

[Donal Dowling @donaldowling1]

@TheIrishKieran I don't read that comment the way you do. I see it as we won't be splashing around big transfer fees or wages and the player has to be a good fit. Dont get drawn in by the shiny new thing that may be exciting but not actually improve you
