Whatever you may think of Assange, he was only the publisher of the materials given. If he is indicted it sets a horrible precedent for journalism. We stand with Assange.
I am in shock..
I couldn’t hear clearly what he said?
He looks very bad.
How could you Equador ?
(Because he exposed you).
How could you UK. ?
Of course - you are America’s bitch and
you need a diversion from your idiotic Brexit bullshit.
Images of Ecuador's ambassador inviting the UK's secret police into the embassy to drag a publisher of--like it or not--award-winning journalism out of the building are going to end up in the history books. Assange's critics may cheer, but this is a dark moment for press freedom.
URGENT
Julian Assange did not "walk out of the embassy". The Ecuadorian ambassador invited British police into the embassy and he was immediately arrested.
I see few covering the rumors of Ecuador's intention to unilaterally revoke Julian Assange's asylum refer to the formal rulings of the United Nations. Regardless of what you think of the man as a person, if you believe in human rights law, this matters. https://t.co/ctKci2ElVg

You didn’t care about your government workers during your 35 day tantrum? And yes it was a concession because you tried to use government workers and services as leverage to get a wall, you didn’t get it and had to give in aka concede :)
I wish people would read or listen to my words on the Border Wall. This was in no way a concession. It was taking care of millions of people who were getting badly hurt by the Shutdown with the understanding that in 21 days, if no deal is done, it’s off to the races!
This BBC interview from 1984 is one of my favourite clips of @jeremycorbyn. His values and principles have remained unchanged despite being constantly belittled and abused by the press. He's a rare politician; a fundamentally decent, morally incorruptible man of the people.
