One time I asked my brother why he tended to only play/make characters that were women. He said “If I’m gonna stare at a screen for hours, I’d rather it be at a cool girl than a dude,” so I think this is a personal problem.
Meet Benny White: elite partying lore of this man:
—Chucked Ødegaard’s £1,200 glasses right into the crowd without a second thought.
—Bullied Rice into performing "Rice, Rice Baby."
—Joyful sang "Hincapie, get your bumm out."
—Someone pelted a burger at the parade bus, and he genuinely just ate it.
You actually cannot convince me there is a bigger legend in the game of partying than him. Ultimate GOAT behavior. 🐐🥳
You’ll see random pictures of Arshavin supporting Arsenal every year since he left. Dude never gave any interviews, just kept supporting the club like a proper fan. Top guy.
I remember watching Arsenal lose to Barcelona in 2006 and feeling like it was the end of an era. When the final whistle blew in Paris twenty years ago, we sensed that Henry, Pires, Ljungberg, and Campbell were on their way out. Winning the Champions League was meant to be a swan song for a group of Arsenal veterans and the capstone of Wenger’s decade-long project. That’s what made the loss so hard to take.
Today felt different. Arsenal lost, but it feels like a new era is beginning. The team pushed PSG’s coddled players to the absolute limit, completely neutralized their attack, and were denied a clear penalty. The loss hurts, but you can tell these players are totally committed to the club and to one another. They know there is so much more they can achieve. They can feel the fans are behind them.
Arsenal has all the ingredients to dominate for years to come… and the players know it. Just look at Rice’s expression. Winning the Premier League unlocked a new mentality in the team.
Tomorrow’s parade is a commencement.
Hand on heart, I dont feel sad at all. Im so fucking proud of this group. Won us a PL after 22 years and took us to a UCL final. Kings who will be remembered forever. 99% of Europe would want our season.
Thank you Mikel and Thank you Arsenal.
I recognise my football club again.
