Unless and until teachers are brought to the table early in the process, taken seriously, unless and until the software is developed to solve the problems of and support classroom instruction, we'll always end up trying to drive a screw with a hammer and be told this is the best.
@alicekeeler decisions. And isn't that what's needed in the classroom to make for what we really want: teachers using data to provide feedback on whether what they're doing is effective? That's what TEACHERS really want anyway, and some good administrators, and some enlightened IT people.

@alicekeeler the system have their hands tied. There is no incentive anywhere in the system to give teachers a chance to innovate, to try something new. No incentive for software companies to give teachers a way to see things in different ways, to take different angles on the data driving
