@SEYids1882 @GeorgeDobell1 Agree, Cox and Ahmed should’ve travelled. Both have not been considered for red ball selection so they’ll need to get some CC time in after their commitment to the IPL has passed. Can’t blame them franchise cricket is the cash cow.

Surely (persuader word) with personal and team pride left to salvage from the ashes of the Ashes, Ben Stokes must drop the corporate gaslighting and be honest at press conferences? Will HIS vision for England be revised?
@GeorgeDobell1 Unusually, first test is at Perth, the hardest of roads. Is this a ploy to subject the England attack to concrete delivery platforms, thereby testing the bowlers’ resilience and match fitness?
@ToppersSnr@AlexTregellas@HomeOfCricket@WarwickshireCCC I was so pleased to meet up with John at Edgbaston last year. After many decades, I was able to thank him for looking after a raw teenager in the mid 70’s! I was even playing in the hockey match when John got the scar on his top lip! RIP old chum!
@bbctms@ZaltzCricket Can someone please convince me that the risk/reward ratio of playing the reverse sweep is in the black? I can’t see how it belongs in the shot repertoire on the first morning of a Test..
@MarinaPurkiss@JeremyVineOn5 Those who have worked throughout their lives have already paid for their pensions. Ergo, the state pension is an entitlement and it’s taxed. Also, assets (such as property) are used as collateral for care, who’s going to pay for that, certainly not the government?
