For those of you who were not in court, this audio summarizes everything you need to know about why Chairman Wontumi couldn’t evade his 20-year sentence. The allegations were overwhelming!
No Sharia Law In Burkina Faso- Traore
“I am a Muslim, but everyone in Burkina Faso has the right to practice their own religion. There will never be Sharia law in this country.
“To those Burkinabè studying Sharia law in Saudi Arabia, do not return to Burkina Faso. Instead of acquiring technological knowledge and skills that can help develop our country, you chose to study Sharia law. Stay where you are, you won't be allowed back here- President Traore
“I have a Diploma in Accounting. I chose to study accounting for 4 years while chasing professional football, so i could have something to fall back to in case Football stops giving me money”
— N’Golo Kanté
Since Kurt Okraku became GFA President:
• ❌ AFCON 2021: Group stage exit
• ❌ World Cup 2022: Group stage exit
• ❌ AFCON 2023: Group stage exit
• ❌ Failed to qualify for AFCON 2025
• 📉 Ghana currently ranked 74th in the FIFA rankings

If you read the Post World cup statement from Kurt Okraku, you will know this guy is completely living in a different world from Ghanaians
Man is so clueless, he does not even know the state of Ghana Football, and the low level he's plunged the country into.
@ESPNAfrica AFCON Is for Africans so why allow Europe and other continents to influence your date? Why not put Africa first by considering our weather conditions instead of behaving like a stranded slave? @CAF_Online@CAF_Media
Your thinking sucks
@ESPNAfrica It’s the raining season across Africa during June and July. Who are those shallow minds that changed from January to June and July which are the worst times ever for such competitions? It could be any other months than these two. Go back and think @CAF_Online
To everyone asking, "What happens after signing the petition?"
The petition is only the first step. The next step is the National Day of Demonstration under the theme:
"We Are Taking Back Our Football."
As law-abiding citizens, we are committed to conducting this demonstration peacefully and in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Before any demonstration takes place, we will formally notify the Ghana Police Service @GhPoliceService and provide all the necessary details, including the proposed date, assembly point, route, destination, and the petition we intend to present.
This movement is about demanding accountability, transparency, and honesty in the administration of Ghana football through lawful and peaceful means.
We therefore encourage everyone to continue signing and sharing the petition while we complete the necessary legal procedures for the demonstration.
Together, we are taking back our football.

FIFA @FIFAcom operates under Swiss law because it is based in Switzerland. The Ghana Football Association operates in Ghana and must comply with the laws of Ghana while also respecting FIFA's Statutes.
FIFA's principle of autonomy protects football from undue political interference, but it does not place the GFA above Ghana's legal framework. Where there are inconsistencies between the GFA Statutes and the Sports Act or other Ghanaian laws, those issues should be addressed through lawful reforms not by assuming the GFA is exempt from the laws of the Republic.
Therefore, Mr. Kurt Okraku @kurtokraku and the Executive Council Members of the Ghana Football Association should recognize that they are not above the laws of Ghana. Like every institution and public office operating within the country, they are expected to act within the law, uphold transparency, accountability, and good governance, and remain answerable to the legal framework of the Republic of Ghana.

"We Are Taking Back Our Football."
This national demonstration will bring together football lovers, supporters, and concerned citizens from all 16 regions of Ghana to peacefully demand accountability, transparency, and meaningful reforms in the administration of Ghana football.
Our message is simple: Ghana's football belongs to the people. We believe the time has come to restore integrity, fairness, and good governance to the game we all love.
We call on every Ghanaian who believes in a better future for our football to stand with us as we peacefully make our voices heard.
Together, we are taking back our football.
