@onlinegeorge@bumbadum14 Weird choice of hardware to skimp on... But, I guess it's one of the more overlooked components when people skim pre-built specs.
@AtmosephericX@AnxiousHolly It's not our choice to make. We're all fodder to a greater arms race between two powerful nations that decides the future of the world for the next century. RAM prices will come back down, but we won't see stabilization (and potential deprecation) of prices until at least 2028.
@immasiddx It's not even 'balls' to raise their prices. As it stands, they're currently even subsidizing pricing of things like RAM... I hate having to defend a fucking multi-trillion dollar company, but this is an industry-wide problem. Look at the Steam machine.
@MrShermichael Their empathy has been weaponized against them, and they falsely believe that their counterparts are vying for the same "equality". They're not, and will never 'reward' the white progressives for their help. They will gladly stab them in the backs after they get "theirs".
@ByronRthrfrd@JohnDoyle This is literally because third world imports by the tens of millions, if not comfortably ~150 million, over the past two to three decades, coming in and competing for housing
@Butters09016449@VinceLyle2161@ChristianHeiens Strange how socialism/communism doesn't make strides when the economics are strong, despite being such a utopian approach to governance...
