A5: wonder how to make GM work better in 6th grade. I only have 45 minutes. In stations the kids are rowdy, someone is always doing something inappropriate. they like to see what they can get away with. I love the small groups with me, but nothing else is working #mdgchat17
@vdpowell85 It is like a video game.. It has wizards and other characters. they have to answer math problems to get past a certain spot often. You can program in what skill you's like them to work on, too or play preset game.#mdgchat17

A3 : I am proud to make it through everyday somehow with 105 middle schoolers. JK! seriously I am proud of my kids for sticking to it with real-life (word) problems. thinking through them is tough for them, but they try.We're not there yet, but on the way #mdgchat17
the students' projects must include sample size, measurements, median, mean, measure of variability using a numberline,shape of graph,justifying,adding or deleting a data point in median or mean It's fun!#mdgchat17
A2: My favorite Data standard is 6.DS.5a-g - describe numerical data sets in relation to their real world context. I use a project based lesson to cover all parts of the standard at once. Students design their own project.#mdgchat17
