BREAKING: Senator John Fetterman chokes up while giving a powerfully moving speech about the struggles that people with disabilities face during a hearing of the Senate Special Committee on Aging.

During the most striking moment in his speech, Fetterman held up his phone to show everyone in the room the specialized transcription app that aids him in conversations and interactions after he suffered a stroke last year that damaged his ability to efficiently process language.

"Because I live in a political environment, I was ridiculed and made fun of," said Fetterman, growing visibly emotional.

"I’m so sorry that I’m sure many of you had to go through this kind of thing," he went on. "I was lucky enough to go through my life, the vast majority of that, without this kind of disability that I have."

"I admire everyone that has to kind of live with these kind of struggles, and prevail over them," he added.

Fetterman asked how the Senate can "become more empathetic, more responsive and more effective senators, to provide the kind of support and services" that disabled Americans “deserve.”

Speaking so earnestly about his own stroke takes real courage. Republicans were absolutely heartless about his health scare, trotting out cruel mockeries and smears in an effort to hurt him politically. Fetterman is a hero.

BREAKING: Trump is hit with devastating news as former Georgia Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan exits the courthouse after testifying in front of Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis’ grand jury and immediately blasts Trump with an epic takedown.

He quickly went after Trump, declaring, “This is a pivot point for the Republican Party. We need to take our medicine and accept that the 2020 presidential election WASN’T rigged, that Donald Trump was the worst candidate ever in the history of the Republican Party — even worse than Herschel Walker — and that if we want to win the next election, it’s gonna have to be with someone other than Donald Trump.”

But he wasn’t done there, adding, “As long as Republicans make this upcoming election about the three-ring circus called Donald Trump, we’re gonna lose EVERY time!”

If this is how he talked right after his testimony, it’s safe to assume that his testimony was absolutely devastating for Trump — and that an indictment is imminent.

BREAKING: Rachel Maddow destroys Donald Trump over today’s indictment in a POWERFUL late-night rant in front of millions of live MSNBC viewers that must be heard by EVERY American who gives a damn about our struggling democracy.

Maddow didn’t mince words, declaring that, “If the allegations in this indictments are proven beyond a reasonable doubt, and a jury convicts him of his crimes, history is NOT going to ask, “How did America get the point where they indicted a former president?”

Instead, history is going to ask, “How did America get to the point where such a person could be elected to the presidency of the United States, where actions such as these could be carried out from the Oval Office, directed by a person who was elected president by the American people, along with his advisors? This is a grave day and a serious one for our country.”

Well said, Rachel. America is at a crossroads — and the ONLY way to preserve our democracy is to lock Trump up for good and set an example for future generations, and future presidents, to come.
