On this day in 1960, Team USA clinched its first-ever Olympic gold medal in men’s hockey, beating Czechoslovakia 9-4 after scoring six unanswered goals in the third period🥇
The U.S. men have won two golds since: the “Miracle on Ice” in 1980 and this past Sunday on Jack Hughes’ golden goal in overtime.
On September 11, 2001, 343 FDNY members made the Supreme Sacrifice while responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center. Hundreds more have died since of 9/11 related illness. That day changed our City, our country and the FDNY forever. We will #NeverForget.
Few have made a bigger impact in the world of college hockey over the past three decades.

Thank you, Coach Riley 🖤💛
Were it not for the United States Military Academy, the College Football Playoff would be a soccer tournament sponsored by a tea company. Give them the spot they earned.
