38-year-old Minnesota mother Bonnie Pierce had already escaped her burning home when she realized every mother’s worst nightmare…
Her toddler was still inside.
Bonnie didn’t hesitate.
She ran back into the flames to get her baby.
When firefighters finally reached them, Bonnie was reportedly found lying over her little girl, using her own body to shield her from the fire and smoke. 💔
She protected that baby until she physically couldn’t anymore.
Bonnie suffered burns over nearly half of her body and had reportedly gone without oxygen for approximately 15 minutes. She fought for two more days before sadly passing away from her injuries.

That is not luck. That is a mother deciding her child’s life was worth more than her own.
She died Monday from her injuries. The little girl she covered is expected to recover. Bonnie was 38. She was a mother of four. She used her last minutes as a shield.
A lot of people talk about love. Very few would walk back into a fire to prove it.
We just watched people stand outside a courthouse for a woman accused of killing her own three children. That circus got attention. Bonnie Pierce gave her life and barely got a fraction of it.
Honor does not belong to the spectacle. It belongs to the woman who ran toward the fire.
Remember her name. Pray for her children. This is what love looks like when it costs everything.

This is another factor in why prices are so high on beef, chicken and pork. They're monopolizing and controlling the smaller ranchers by dictating the food processing.
Remove cost raising regulations and break up illegal monopolies! The Cartels have a lot to do with this. Most thought they were just drug dealers, no they are so much more than that. This is why POTUS has been so hyper focused on them.

Just like back in June when POTUS announced the Presidential memorandum titled Lowering the Cost of Living by Promoting the Freedom to Fix, which directs the US EPA to deprioritize enforcement actions against people repairing their own vehicle emissions systems and to ease rules on alternative aftermarket parts.
When we think about lower prices and going back to the 1950's prices there is so much to do to get there. You have to eliminate all these controlling thieves and allow the farmers/ranchers to process their own food!
Many industries will be affected with more abilities to control their own product and far less regulations that cause prices to skyrocket!
I'm sure milk will also be another thing that's addressed and having the ability in more states to purchase raw milk and not pay an arm and a leg for it!

Four companies decide what an American steer is worth. In 2019 a Nebraska rancher decided to become a fifth.
Before the story, this month. On 13 August Tyson shut its beef plant at Joslin, Illinois, taking another buyer out of the market. Fed cattle are down around twenty-nine dollars a hundredweight since late June. Calves sold five to fifteen lower this week. And on 21 August ranchers were told from a podium that the answer to expensive beef is three hundred thousand tonnes of somebody else's, tariff free, for ninety days, and that they should be patient while they rebuild the herd that same announcement gives them a reason not to rebuild.
The answer to all of that was already poured in concrete six years ago by a man with no particular advantages.
Rusty Kemp runs cattle near Tryon, out in McPherson County. In 2019 he was on a trade mission to Japan and Vietnam with the governor, and somewhere in the course of it he said the thing every cattleman says in private, which is that the price of his animals is set by people he will never meet and there is nothing he can do about it. Pete Ricketts told him to go and build his own plant.
Most men would have laughed. That autumn Kemp started ringing round.
He had timing, in the way only disasters provide. Fire took out the Holcomb plant in Kansas that August and kill slots vanished overnight. Then covid, plants shut, and ranchers sat on finished cattle they could not move while the price of mince in town went up. Anybody who still believed the system had slack in it stopped believing it in about a fortnight.
Ten of them put their names to it. Ranchers and feeders, mostly from within a couple of hundred miles. They picked North Platte, which in 2021 was the fastest shrinking town in Nebraska, and they built on a retired municipal sewage lagoon, which is either poetic or just the only ground going.
Then the hard part. Two and a half years of construction, inflation running through every quote, and a build that came in around four hundred million dollars for 550,000 square feet. Walmart took a minority stake and a board seat in 2022 and agreed to buy the beef, which is the moment it stopped being an idea and started being a plant.
On 28 May 2025 the gates opened. Kemp drove in with three black Angus of his own and put them over the scale himself, six years after that conversation on the other side of the world. Behind him came a semitrailer with forty head off another founder's feedlot at Hershey. Two loads of eighty on the day, which is nothing, which is the point, because they were learning to do it properly.
It runs up to 1,500 head a day now, one shift, eight hours, forty hour weeks, heading for around 850 people on the payroll in a town that had spent twenty years losing them.
Kemp is careful about what he claims. One plant does not fix an industry and he is not taking on the Big Four. His argument is that there is an enormous amount of room between a five thousand head a day plant and the local butcher, and nobody had been standing in it.
That room is still empty. It is empty in Texas, in Missouri, in the Dakotas, in every state where the nearest buyer just got further away.
Ten men and a sewage lagoon. No podium, no ninety day window, no press release.
Nobody is coming. That turns out to be the good news.

Every appointment inside seven minutes, and nobody ever has time to ask the only interesting question in the whole file, which is what happened in month three.

I was a senior sales representative for one of the top three pharmaceutical companies in the world. I won't name them yet. My lawyers are still working on my protection agreement under the Executive Order.
My job was simple: visit oncologists, buy them dinners, take them to conferences, and make sure they prescribed our chemotherapy drugs over the competitors. I was good at it. Top 1% nationally for seven consecutive years.
I never questioned it. The drugs had FDA approval. The doctors trusted me. The patients trusted them. The system worked — for everyone except the patients.
