You can still be charged for grooming if you sleep with someone 16/17 when you're 18+

The whole story is based on real accounts from British borstals in the 1970's

Children (not just black but all colours) are consuming this and want to emulate it as it's "cool"

@Oberstbche13611 @men_are_human I've got a good girlfriend who loves me no matter how I look and I'm no way near as skinny as I was then but I do think, on some occasions I get body dysmorphia, in the sense I see myself as much smaller than I am, somewhat due to experiences like that.

@men_are_human One whispers not so quietly to the other "omg look how skinny that boys arms are" as soon as they went into the locker room my jumper went straight back. That's stuck with me and 10+ years I still have poor self image issues

@men_are_human I was 18/19 working in retail. It was really hot and I was scanning stock out back. I used to keep my jumper on cuz I was self-conscious about how skinny my arms were. I thought fuck it and took the jumper off, not 2 mins later a couple of older women were walking upstairs
