Introducing Cognee v1.0: a major breakthrough in agentic intelligence.
It is 145% better than Opus 4.8 and GPT 5.5 at long context memory retrieval.
Cognee allows a 100 BILLION token context window 100,000x more than Claude. It's:
- 6.9x cheaper than GPT 5.5 and Opus 4.8
- Cold starts in 350ms & searches in 260ms
Why this matters:
Today agents forget important context, redo tasks, waste tokens, and slow down as workflows get more complex.
Cognee solves this.
It’s not a place to build agents. It connects to the agents you’ve already built, across any platform, and makes them significantly cheaper, faster, and more accurate.
Here's how it works:
🚨 A SENIOR ANTHROPIC ENGINEER JUST DROPPED AN 11-PAGE PDF ON LOOP ENGINEERING.
The core shift: stop prompting the agent. Build the system that prompts it.
Inside the autonomous loop:
- Discover → Finds its own work (failing CI, open issues).
- Isolate → Uses separate git worktrees to prevent collisions.
- Verify → A second agent reviews the work. (Never let agents self-grade).
- Persist → Writes to disk, not temporary context windows.
- Schedule → Runs automatically on a timer.
This is a great framework for building more reliable agentic systems

CHINA is giving 20M FREE tokens to use GLM-5.2, 5.1, their frontier coding model, and barely anyone outside china has noticed 😳
no credit card. no subscription. 1M token context.
zhipu just shipped GLM-5.2 - 756B params, MIT licensed, built for agentic coding and every new account gets 20M tokens to run it free
what you get for $0:
- 20,000,000 free tokens (real quota, not a 7-day trial)
- 120 free image + video generation credits
- full GLM-5.2 with high + max thinking modes
- 1M token context - feed it your entire codebase
- openai-compatible api - drops into cursor, claude code, cline, anything
what this replaces:
- Cursor Pro: $20/mo
- GitHub Copilot: $10/mo
- Claude API: $3-15 per million tokens
- the GLM Coding Plan itself: $3-15/mo - you skip even that
bigmodel asks for a chinese number? 3 ways around it:
- easiest: skip it and sign up on https://t.co/wqhdS6GPCT instead (global site, takes international numbers + email, own free daily trial)
- cheapest +86: rent a one-time chinese number on sms-activate or 5sim for under a dollar, paste the code
- free but flaky: grab a public +86 from quackr or receive-sms (often already used, retry a couple)
how to set up (2 min):
> register at https://t.co/fs7sk4i49c
> verify, open the console - 20M tokens land automatically
> create an api key
> base url: https://t.co/l4VZWIzOhk
> model: glm-5.2 - point any openai sdk at it
important:
- MIT licensed - you can even self-host the weights free
- free quota, grab it before the terms change
run a 756B coding model on your whole codebase for $0
while everyone else burns $20/mo per tool
bookmark this before the free quota disappears
Feeling a bit loopy? Introducing Looper - your loop design coach
It’s been made clear that we shouldn’t be promoting agents, we should be designing loops
You can use /loop or /goal but if your loop is poorly designed then it won’t produce good output
Even worse, a poorly designed loop will burn a ton of tokens
So I created Looper - a tool to help me design better loops, and decided to open source it
Here’s what it does:
> /looper invokes the loop design wizard
> critiques your goal/loop and helps you sharpen it based on a library of best practices
> builds a verification rubric so it knows what "done" should be
> allows you to add an LLM as judge, including non-Claude models like Codex
> adds guardrails and helps you set a budget with tight/generous options to avoid token waste
> generates portable artifacts to make it easy to repeat / edit the loop
> gives you a visual diagram for your loop (see replies for examples)
Looper is intentionally a design layer, not a heavy orchestration framework - it helps you create a loop worth running, then hands it to Claude Code or your own runner/orchestrator
Please share your feedback, this was v0.1 so I expect it to have room for improvements, and feel free to submit issues or PRs
Note: Looper was inspired by @mvanhorn's "WTF is a loop" article and then fine-tuned with some of the tips in the great loop architecture article by @djfarrelly

Loop Engineering is the next step after prompt engineering.
Most people still use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Grok like a chat box:
Prompt.
Wait.
Copy.
Fix.
Prompt again.
This repo shows the next step:
You stop prompting the agent.
You design the loop that prompts the agent for you.
Inside:
→ Daily triage loops
→ PR babysitter loops
→ CI sweeper loops
→ Dependency sweeper loops
→ Changelog drafter loops
→ Post-merge cleanup loops
→ Issue triage loops
It also gives you CLIs to:
• Scaffold a loop
• Estimate token cost
• Audit if your repo is ready
• Add memory/state
• Add human handoff
• Add verification gates
• Run agents safely through GitHub Actions
The wild part is the shift in thinking.
Prompt engineering was about writing better instructions.
Loop engineering is about building a system where agents keep working, checking, fixing, and escalating without you babysitting every step.
This is what AI coding looks like when it stops being a chat session and starts becoming an operating system for software teams.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻: 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗙𝘂𝗴𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝟰.𝟴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝟱.
A tiny Tokyo lab matched Fable 5 without ever touching Fable 5.
Here are the receipts.
On the hardest coding test, Fugu Ultra scored 73.7.
Opus 4.8 got 69.2. GPT 5.5 got 58.6.
On graduate-level science questions, it hit 95.5.
And Fable 5 isn't even in its lineup. It's locked from the public.
So it reaches that level by smartly orchestrating every other model.
Real users see it too. One found 20+ code bugs where other tools found 3.
The trick: it's a conductor that splits the job and checks its own work.
The frontier isn't about the biggest model anymore. It's about who coordinates best.
Save this. You'll want it the next time you need Fable 5 level power.
