Let’s all cheer for our incredible Mrs. Netce Sia! 🎉 She has been personally invited by The King to a prestigious reception for nurses and midwives at Buckingham Palace 🏰👑
Ma’am Netce, thank you for your hard work and passion in service and we couldn’t be prouder. 🌈✨
Fascinating article highlighting the lower incidence of falls in patients placed by a window, a seemingly simple but effective intervention to reduce falls-related harm

How many medical schools teach future doctors the phenomenology of dying?
Death is a universal human outcome. Doctors need to be able to recognise, respect & accompany dying once life-saving treatment is no longer appropriate. They can't respect what they don't know.

Tonight, I’ve come close to tears whilst apologising to patients for the standards of care we are able to provide.
In my 22 years of being an A&E Dr, I’ve never seen things so bad. It’s the same everywhere.
I just hope patients know fault lies with politicians not NHS staff.
The NHS is the closest I’ve known it to completely broken.
And it isn’t just about a lack of social care.
It’s about unwieldy diagnostic & treatment pathways, poor IT, over regulation, insufficient staff, lack of empowerment of juniors & insufficient urgent care options.
