The combined limit for both of these methods is $69,000 per year.

If you're an S-corp (or LLC taxed as S-corp) with no employees, you have 28 days to get up to a $69,000 tax deduction by funding a Solo 401(k).
A Solo 401(k) allows for:
(1/2)
1. $23,000 in employee contributions (up to 100% of your W-2). This can be a Roth (tax-free growth) or Traditional (tax-deductible) contribution.
2. An employer contribution of up to 25% of W-2 compensation, up to a total of $69,000. This is typically a Traditional contribution.
Small/solo business owners sitting on cash - it's not too late to use it to open up a retirement plan and save on taxes.
The deadline to open some of these plans is 12/31. If you'd like to discuss options in a free introductory meeting, book a call using the link in comments ⬇️
2025 Tax Brackets were released today.
If current tax law stands, the 2017 TCJA will expire in 2026, making 2025 the last year of lower tax rates.
This means we're preparing to help our clients with Roth conversions, acceleration of income & delaying certain itemized deductions

@money_cruncher One could argue this portfolio is chasing winners, although not as bad as buying individual stocks.
Large-cap growth bias, 100% U.S. bias, and strong tech bias. All after significant valuation expansion.
A global market-cap weighted indexed portfolio would be 100% $VT.
Box below is one of the largest target date funds. Odds are, this is similar to the default option in your 401(k).
Historically, the bottom left corner (small-cap value) has outperformed the other 8. There's a good chance you only have 2% exposure to it.
