The trenches will never die.

As long as there are people grinding and hustling for a better life, the trenches are alive. In a bull market, in a bear market, and in real life.

The trenches are the grind to pay your rent and provide for your family. The trenches are dating apps in 2025. The trenches are that 9-5 job that sucks the life out of you. And the trenches are the hustle to build generational wealth and abundance.

That spirit never dies in us. The whole point of the trenches is that you continue to get back up when you are knocked down. So, when I see people saying “the trenches are dead”… I know what they mean is there is nothing left for them to extract.

The real ones know the true trenchers will stay relentlessly grinding and looking for opportunities to make it, no matter the market conditions, no matter the trends, no matter the meta, no matter what happens next.

Glory to the trenchers. Here we go again.

Why Trencher?

I created the Trencher character as a representation of the grind we all have within us to lift ourselves up and make better life for ourselves.

In April, the drawing went viral and my story turned into a bigger conversation about how artists can coexist with memecoin communities. The token was trading with 10M-30M volume daily during the first 2 weeks.

The serial deployer earned over $86k off my daily work, while I was earning nothing. Trencher then ended up in the middle of the conversation around creator fees, and I fought for 3 months for changes to be made. When Pumpfun finally changed the system, Trencher was the very first one to have the fees redirected. And at this same time I secured a patronage partnership with Pumpfun. (The creator fee structure still need to be fixed even further imo)

Since then I have registered my character as copyrighted IP, created over 600 pieces of art, launched an animated series, host weekly livestreams, and continue to expand the Trencher brand. I have also been featured by Pumpfun, Ourbit, Opensea, Moonshot, Bitget, and many others.

Trencher is an artcoin, memecoin, creator coin, streamer coin, brand coin. It’s an everything coin, and it represents the entire spirit of the trenches.

Trencher is also about a small artist who took the major setback of having my artwork stolen, and used it as an opportunity to grow. My own personal story is an actual representation of the core Trencher narrative, the grind to build a better life for ourselves. Trencher exists for everyone here who has relentless self belief.

A message for beginner Trenchers: If you feel anxious or depressed during market wide dips, you’re probably over-invested. When sentiment is down and everyone is offline, this is a good time to take care of IRL things you’ve been avoiding.

Also, it takes a lot of skill to trade daily runners. If you don’t understand how to check wallets, pick narratives, and babysit the chart to perfectly time your sells, youre better off sticking with cult coins.

My personal preference these days is cult coins/art coins, because I’m so busy drawing, I don’t have time to babysit charts like I used to. If you choose cult coins over daily runners, you have to understand that they move differently. Their liq is thicker so they don’t run as hard or fast as new pairs. They slow grind up over time. So if you choose to buy an established coin, you have to understand that it’s not gonna 10x overnight. These are conviction holds.

I know this seems obvious to many people, but I see people struggling in the trenches so I wanted to share. If you have any tips for beginner trenchers, drop em!

Even if Cobie doesn't make a creator coin, this deal with Coinbase shows the value of investing in a single creator which is the core of creator capital markets.

People need to realize CCM exists in many forms: creator coins, NFTs, physical art with collectors, patrons, sponsors, brand deals, etc

If you're a creator and people invest in you in any way, you exist in a creator economy
