“The first thing anyone noticed in Theodosia was her smile. We’d always see her laughing.”
This Lebanese student was killed by Israel just after finishing her final exams. Theodosia Karam is one of over 3,500 people killed by Israel’s attacks on Lebanon since March.
The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began.
The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start.
Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have.
If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.
Israel executed baby Sam today with a bullet to the face in the occupied West Bank.
They killed his mother too.
Sam was only 7 months old.
They murdered a mother. And her infant.
An audience member at a Q&A recently asked me why I'm so apocalyptic. The genocide in Gaza, beyond being a tragedy, marks an irreversible shift in the global world order. Before the genocide, the imperialist ambitions of the Western oligarchic class were partially constrained by the utopian ideal of the rules-based order. Now that ideal is gone, and unrestrained barbarity will characterize the methodology of the war-making ruling class. In other words — our future is an apocalyptic one.
There has never been a war in history where 80% of the country has been destroyed, 100% of the population displaced, and 50% of the deaths children.
Call it what it is: GENOCIDE.
Peace activist Rachel Corrie, crushed to death in Gaza in 2003 by an Israeli army bulldozer destroying sections of Rafah city, wrote in her diary:
“I just want to write to my mom and tell her that I’m witnessing this chronic, insidious genocide and I’m really scared, and questioning my fundamental belief in the goodness of human nature.”
Rafah, like the rest of Gaza's cities and villages, is now gone – laid waste in that genocide Rachel Corrie saw unfolding 20 years earlier.
Yesterday, an Israeli soldier opened fire on a Palestinian family sitting in their car. He was ten meters away. It was broad daylight.
The father, a lecturer at Bethlehem University, was shot in the head. Another bullet passed through their seven-month-old baby's jaw and struck the mother as well.
The baby, Sam, did not survive.
Not a single peep from the likes of the BBC or CNN, the same outlets that were reporting on the Iranian women’s football team three times a day.
Western media doesn’t care about women’s freedom in Iran, Palestine or Lebanon unless it can be weaponised to serve their narrative.
🎥 “You leave right now or you die.”
Israeli soldiers went door to door in the border village of Ain Arab, forcing residents from their homes at gunpoint, journalist Lylla Younes reports in her latest Drop Site investigation.
The forced expulsion of Ain Arab was a striking example of the Israeli military’s campaign to ethnically cleanse villages across southern Lebanon, with an estimated 60 villages completely destroyed south of the “Yellow Line” Israel declared on April 19, barring residents from ever returning.
Younes said it is emblematic of what Israel is doing across the south:
“There isn’t any sort of discernible calculus here besides mass destruction and mass instability really and mass punishment of a people.”

"Ireland refusing to play Israel would not end the suffering in Gaza.
But it would be a statement...heard far and wide that Irish football will not pretend that this is the normality when it’s really a catastrophe.
Do not play the games."

@RamAbdu@malsaafin Dr. Hassan Abu Safiya is an articulate pediatrician/ neonatologist who witnessed horrific violence against Gaza children. Not Hamas. He’s being tortured & starved in Israeli prison. What he saw in Gaza is so damning to the IDF, I worry they’ll kill him so his story is never told.
Israel killed Rahma, a Sri Lankan foreign worker, in an airstrike on Habboush in South Lebanon after she chose to remain behind to care for abandoned animals. In a previous voice message, she explained: "I'm not afraid of death. I'm afraid for the animals."
■ "I hope Israel strikes me and my animals. If we are killed, then let it be together. I'm not afraid of death; I'm afraid for the animals. God created me as He created them, yet out of fear for your own lives, you left them behind,” Rahma said.
Under the weight of relentless bombardment and ongoing attacks, #Israel is forcibly displacing civilians from their villages and towns across #Lebanon, turning the reality on the ground into a landscape of destruction and reshaping it on the ruins of entire communities. This transformation by force is not merely a military escalation or a wartime tactic, it is a systematic plan to impose long-term military control and a new geographical reality at the expense of people. It constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and seeks to erase civilians’ rights to live on their land, return to their homes, and remain connected to their territory.
⭕️ Israeli forces and settlers carry out raids, assaults, and detentions across the occupied West Bank
Israeli forces wounded five Palestinians during a Thursday raid on a home in Doha west of Bethlehem. In Nablus, dozens of Israeli military vehicles and a bulldozer stormed Joseph’s Tomb overnight, and in Beita, Israeli settlers reportedly beat a Palestinian man, according to Al Jazeera.
Israeli troops also detained dozens of Palestinian workers near Tarqumiyah and Beit Ula northwest of Hebron. Eight Palestinians were also detained in Ramallah and al-Bireh, including a disabled woman.
Thank you, Mohammed Salah. That's what we expect from you.
I hope you do it more consistently and speak up about Gaza and Palestine. You'll be lauded & remembered for it.
Dereliction is a social crime
We need compulsory sales (derelict) & compulsory rental (vacant) so everyone can have a home
