There is an answer that Jensen gave in the nvidia interview episode on acquired, where he cites jevons paradox indirectly: increasing efficiency leads to increased resource usage, and consequently increased amount of work to do. And wanting to do more is a product of innate human ambition. It follows that if human ambition does not go away, we will probably continue to grow more despite seemingly 'disrupting' ourselves every once in a while with big technological revolutions. If you work in software like me, the prime example is that roles are blending, and people are rising to higher abstraction languages, including natural language. Anyway show is awesome and reminds me that storytelling is such a great method to diffuse information in a memorable way.

nyc drivers have this crazy technique for u-turns at a busy intersection where you drive in the rightmost lane, and in the split second after the light turns red and before people start crossing, you turn left INTO the crosswalk, narrowly avoiding hitting the pedestrians, pass all the cars previously to your left, and into the opposite lane.

Running both of those links through an llm reveals that oai uses bing (makes sense, microsoft) and anthropic does not explicitly disclose.

a secondary observation from these subprocessor disclosures is u could actually trend which b2b products are popular and growing over time, if you scrape enough of them

app is not performant enough (esp with db), so instead i do most of my work with notion through claude code. BUT the official mcp is buggy and always disconnects, so instead i use a custom cli to interface with it. in the age of agents your app must keep up with the high bandwidth/low latency requirements, it is no longer simply a consumer concern. it is a shame because notion ui is beautiful otherwise~
