Let’s be clear, Bryan Mbeumo is not a bench player.

His numbers speak for themselves: 8 goals and 1 assist in the Premier League already this season, after 20 goals and 7 assists for Brentford last year. You don’t bench that kind of output.

He’s direct, explosive, and strikes the ball cleanly, but it’s his pressing, control, and all-round intensity that really set him apart. Those qualities actually make him a better fit for the striker role at United than Šeško right now, especially given how rarely he’s injured.

Šeško’s time will come. He’s clearly talented. But this season should be about his adaptation to the league, while next season, with the Champions League and more competitions, he’ll get far more minutes. 🔴 #MUFC

It’s finally time for Joshua Zirkzee to SHINE.

A lot of fans have been calling for him to get a proper run of games after his impressive first season at United, and rightfully so. He was one of the few positives in what was a difficult campaign, with his ball-carrying and ability to take players on standing out every time he played.

An injury late last season kept him out for a while, and he only returned towards the end. This season, chances have been limited with three new attackers arriving (Cunha, Mbeumo, and Šeško), plus the lack of European and Carabao Cup fixtures.

His relevance in the squad has slowly dipped, but with Šeško now injured, this is the perfect time for him to make his mark again.

Hopefully he grabs this opportunity with both hands and leads the line in games where teams sit deep. 🔴 #MUFC
