Starting tomorrow (May 18, 2026), live enforcement begins for the Miami-Dade School Bus Safety Program. 🚍🛑
Passing a stopped school bus is illegal, dangerous, and puts children at risk. If the bus has its red lights and stop signs flashing… you STOP.
Violators will receive a $225 civil penalty under Florida law.
Slow down. Stay alert. Stop for the bus. Because every child deserves to get to school…. and home, safely.

Heartbroken to learn of the passing of Commissioner Manolo Reyes. He was a true public servant who always stood up for the little guy and never wavered in doing what he believed was right. We had the utmost respect for one another. The world is better because of him. RIP 🙏🏼
Today we recognize and celebrate Inauguration Day and MLK Day — wonderful reminders of Dr. King’s belief that America continues to strive to be what its founding documents promise. Congratulations to President Trump and Vice President Vance. May God continue to bless America.
I’m honored and humbled to be appointed by @GovRonDeSantis as the next Attorney General of the Free State of Florida.
I’m excited to get to work, build on @AGAshleyMoody’s fine record, help enact the @realDonaldTrump agenda, and defend our people, our constitution, and our Florida way of life!
Tonight, Floridians have returned a historic Republican supermajority to the Florida House of Representatives. Our members, our candidates, and our team at House Campaigns pulled together to bring our conservative message to the voters.
We talked about the issues people cared about, and I know our members will fight every day to deliver results for Floridians.
It’s an exciting night, but it’s going to be an even more exceptional two years.
The terms of this contract are unequivocally against the law that the FL Legislature passed and @GovRonDeSantis signed in 2023. To require a school district to pay a fee for each violation detected is an act of blatant disrespect and disregard to our Governor and policy makers.
@ChrisWill_TV I can't thank you enough for your attention to school bus safety.
It would behoove you to check out our technology at @BusPatrol_, for we've existed for nearly a decade, our AI engine is second to none, and we're in 16 states and 90% of the market.
Let's chat!
@grantstern@FrancisSuarez Troll. If you know anything about FIFA, the world cup, and football in general (which if you're not trolling then you clearly don't) bringing 6 world cup games to your local stadium requires support from an army of officials and dozens of prerequisite moves.
Over the next few months, BusPatrol will equip all 1,100 of our buses with cameras to capture video and license plates of vehicles that illegally pass stopped buses.
There will be a 30-day warning period in January before the program officially goes live in February.
KEEPING BUS RIDERS SAFE 🚍 In an effort to protect students from motorists as they board and exit school buses, @HillsboroughSch and @HCSOSheriff have partnered with @BusPatrol_.

Israel has no choice but to seek the complete eradication of Hamas in Gaza. There simply is no diplomatic solution or “measured response” available
This tragically necessary effort will come at a horrifying price.
But the price of failing to permanently eliminate this group of sadistic savages is even more horrifying.
All Americans should be horrified and outraged by the brazen terrorist attacks on Israel and the slaughter of innocent civilians. We grieve for those who died, pray for the safe return of those who’ve been held hostage, and stand squarely alongside our ally, Israel, as it dismantles Hamas. As we support Israel’s right to defend itself against terror, we must keep striving for a just and lasting peace for Israelis and Palestinians alike.
Big-city press in several parts of Florida has become an unreliable embarrassment, falling far from any measure of best practice journalism. Keep your head up, amiga, and double down on the truth.
“What I find ironic is that…in the context of the federal government being downgraded in its bond rating, Miami—the city that I run—was upgraded to its highest rating ever.
We have the best reserves we’ve ever had in our history, we have annual surpluses, the lowest tax rate we’ve ever had—and we’ve seen 14% growth, double-digit growth.
I want to take this same prosperity, that same austerity, and I want to take it national to balance our budget and create prosperity for the American people.”

In a wide-ranging Newsweek interview, Miami mayor Francis Suarez made the case for why Americans should elect a mayor to the White House in 2024. https://t.co/3qcoOHHYZa
