Please don’t judge where people come from or why they are suffering under this college debt. For some like me it was the only way to have a better life. I paid mine off but I am happy to pay taxes so others, esp public servants, don’t have to struggle without basic necessities.
@usedgov So happy for people w/ loan forgiveness,esp Ts! When I started teaching in 1990, I made 18,000 & had 30,000 in loans. I was not irresponsible! I attended state college, worked the whole time, and finished undergraduate in 6 yrs. I had limited help and needed loans for my dream!
