Just like that—the best sunset ever. We also saw the great whale families that come around this time, and Diamond Head in the distance was truly breathtaking.

Had a wonderful time at “Pharaoh’s Egypt” at the Theatre of Light. A mesmerizing journey through ancient Egypt, with stunning art, history, and storytelling. It felt like walking through pyramids and tombs. My mom loved it too!

Back in Washington, D. C. after exactly 13 years. Longest flight ever, and I still get airsick. Started with the Natural History Museum—free admission! So much to see, even two museums in a day aren’t enough. Perfect warm, dry weather.

세계에서 가장 아름다운 배, 이탈리아 해군 아메리고 베스푸치호에 특별 초대받은 우리 부부. 13년 전 인도 여행 때 입었던 드레스도 다시 꺼내 입고, 오랜만에 만난 이탈리아분들과 더 반가운 시간.

끝없이 펼쳐진 푸른 초원에서 엄마와 ��나게 초원 썰매를 탔다. 아이처럼 즐거워하는 엄마를 보니 나도 행복해. 말과 양, 소만 보이는 몽골의 게르에서 맞는 하루, 눈까지 편안해진다.

독일 최고봉, 아래는 덥고 정상에 가까워질수록 눈이 소복소복. 너무 높아 심장이 두근두근. 오스트리아와 독일 양쪽에 발 하나씩 두고 맥주와 프레첼 한입.
