There's one Mark Douglas concept that stuck with me forever:

Mark Douglas said it best: "There is a random distribution between wins and losses for any given set of variables that define an edge. An edge is nothing more than an indication of a higher probability of one thing happening over another."

You have a process.
You've backtested it.
You execute it every single time the conditions hit.

There's no way to know which individual trade will win or lose. Zero ability to predict that.

Your only job is to place a series of trades using a proven edge. Over a large enough sample size, you get rewarded.

That's the entire game.
