Colbert’s real satire bit was not The Colbert Report - it was his late night show. One day we will look back at the Stephen Colbert genius of using his Late Nite platform to make both the left and corporate funded television look as lame as possible.
Stephen Colbert has redpilled more people of how useless they both are by fully committing to the bit for over a decade. A dedication to true performance art we have rarely ever seen.
Truly a genius.
Just one day after ending "The Late Show" on CBS, Stephen Colbert returned to TV — to host a public access show with rocker Jack White in Monroe, Michigan.
Appearances by Jeff Daniels, Eminem and Steve Buscemi.
Robert: “Hehe. What’s so funny, Jim? You seem bemused by my wordle guesses this morning.”
*Robert smirks, setting up his attack on Jim*
Jim: “No. Nope. Not bemused at all. Amused, if anything. Well not amused in like a funny haha way, but a”
*Robert interrupts, staring intensely but relaxed*
“Penis.”
*Robert boldly and loudly says to the table, while intensely scanning across the table*
Robert: “Yes, that is what I guessed. I couldn’t get them out of my mind this morning. It truly captivated me. I looked down at myself this morning in the throws of shame and could not help but think of the tragedy of my own circumcision…..this barbaric practice.”
*Dwight nods in strong agreement*
Robert: “Did you know that in the ancient societies, their statues were mostly phallic? Beautiful statues.”
*Robert goes into disturbing graphic detail of the statues*
Robert: “The great tragedy of our time. Boys, so young, being subject to such undignified brutality.”
*Robert staring into the distance with terrifying intensity*
“I still nightmare of the moment mother handed me to doctor. Doctor to obstretician. The slicing. The cutting. The screaming. The blood. The horror.”
*Robert looking nearly in tears at the thought of his own imagination.
“Night after night, I awake in a dripping sweat crying for mother. Knowing a part of me died before I was ever given a chance.”
*Robert clutches his heart*
*Abruptly shifts tone and stares at Jim with a smirk*
Robert: “But, Jim, i’m glad you were thinking about what was it, again, your stereo?”
Jim: “Radio. It was Radio. Stereo has too many lett….nevermind. Yeah, well said, Robert.”
Robert: “Radio……what music gripped you this morning, Jim? Or was it just the empty thought of a radio that tickled your mind when you arose?”
*Robert smirks and laughs*
“Oh oh. My opening word in Wordle? Haha! You would never guess it in a million billion years.
There is no “strategy” to wordle. There is no “favorite” opening word.
There is only anima.
Porneia.
The war between instinctively desiring to be understood and knowing the universe is indifferent.
Wordle is not a game for the mind. Don’t believe that for one second. Never. Wordle is a game for the heart. It is the reflection of your spirit.
How you play the game of Wordle is how you play the game of life.
I can take a look at your wordle guesses this morning and it will literally tell me every single thing about who you are.
*points aggressively into your soul*
“You understand that what I am telling you is a universal truth?”
“Bring me your phone”
*you walk across the room to Robert and nervously hand him your phone with your wordle guesses today*
*he takes one glance, heartily and sinisterly chuckles, immediately just aggressively slides your phone down the entire conference table nonchalantly without looking, ignoring as it slides right off and hits the onto the floor*
“Don’t pick up that phone. Let it go. That tells me the man you once were. I want to see who you will become.”
*intense eye contact and scowl*
*Leaves room*

@consequence Some of these fame-hungry people can’t understand that Bob simply doesn’t care. Saw him 2 weeks ago and he was great. Seated only, almost all super deep cuts, rearranged all the songs, didn’t say a word to the crowd, and you couldn’t even see his face. Awesome concert.
In a society on the ascent, everyone dresses up. Just look at pictures from the Gilded Age: out in the street, even in the poor areas, everyone is in a suit. They wanted to show they were bettering themselves, had dignity, etc.
But ours is a decadent society on the decline, so far from dressing up, everyone dresses like a slob, mimicking the worst among us so as to give the impression via sweatpants and oversized t-shirt that one is no better than his fellows. It's egalitarianism as applied to dress
Represent the hierarchy you want to see in the world; dress well, and encourage others to do likewise
@DeanAbbott It is “midwittery” at its finest.
Person A only cares about having the “correct” answer.
Person B cares about digging deep for the truth.
The system (education, political, etc) rewards Person A.
Real world favors Person B.
@DeanAbbott Exactly right. The only message men receive these days is “man up” or “rise up”. Same thing as the “nobody wants to work anymore” lie that targets the same kind of demographic.
