@Letter_to_Jack In addition what @Letter_to_Jack , the Ogun state government is in open talks with @info_NRC to run trains on the existing “Lagos-Ibadan rail” from Agbado to Kajola, Papalanto etc. within the state, just like Lagos is running the Red line on “Lagos-Ibadan rail”
The Masterplan ❤️

WE WELCOME MR. PRESIDENT
On behalf of the Government and the good people of Ogun State, we warmly welcome His Excellency, President @officialABAT, GCFR, to the Gateway State on the occasion of his official visit on Saturday, 4th April, 2026.
We are deeply honoured to receive our President as he commissions and inspects several landmark projects, including the Ilishan-Iperu Road in Ikenne Local Government Area, the Sagamu-Iperu-Ode Remo-Sapade Road (Old Sagamu-Ibadan Expressway) Phase 3, the Gateway International Airport Road, the Aviation Village, Security Vehicles, Electric Bikes, Ambulances, Agricultural Equipment, and the Independent Power Plant (IPP). Mr. President will also perform the flag-off of the construction of the Gateway International Conference Centre.
These projects reflect our shared commitment to infrastructure development, improved mobility, enhanced security, emergency response, agricultural advancement, energy support, and economic transformation. They stand as clear evidence of our resolve to build a more prosperous Ogun State while contributing meaningfully to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.
Mr. President, we are proud to welcome you to Ogun State and grateful for your continued support for our vision of progress and development.
Welcome to the Gateway State.
EASTER TRAIN: Osun state government partners NRC to provide Free Train Ride from Lagos to Osogbo. The train departed Iddo station for Osogbo yesterday, April 3, 2026.
The return journey from Osogbo back to Lagos is scheduled for April 6, 10am.
Our aviation vision for Ogun State goes beyond the commissioning of the Gateway International Airport. During his official visit on Saturday, President @officialABAT will also unveil Gateway Air, our new state airline, which will commence operations with two newly acquired aircraft to be managed by ValueJet, alongside the Cargo Facility. This marks another bold step in positioning Ogun State as a key destination for aviation, logistics, and investment.
