The confidently wrong made up 'facts' about what the EU was and wasn't but people weren't clued up enough to call them on it, so we relied on the BBC. Perhaps we should have dedicated more to learning about these things, but hand on heart is the BBC assertive on this

@Paulie157 @Mihi_Forbes I'm not sure that's any different for different age groups, perhaps it just feels less urgent. Hopefully there's a research group looking into this!
@nzscientists For me, most of the jobs in my field (analytical chemistry) are in Auckland but that's not an attractive lifestyle. Here in te Tai Tokerau the lifestyle is π€but there's no research university with resulting high skilled jobs, there's mostly primary industry.
