@DanWolfMoon With the new patch coming tomorrow, it will be fun seeing the reactions of everyone playing through it, as well as tackling the new trial and raids. You only do them first time once, so it can be worthwhile content even if you focus on other stuff for FFXIV streams normally.
@kikibunny_ It can take time for them to get back to you, but you should not feel beholden to them yet just because you've applied. As Schoff pointed out, it's good to keep your options open; and if you get multiple responses, it might even help you gauge the salary and responsibilities.
Years ago, a writers strike disrupted some of my favourite series. Almost killing some of them entirely, or derailing them in a massive way. Now another strike is happening, burn it all down if you need to writers. Real fans will support you and stand in solidarity.
@hupotweets Albion Online has very much Runescape vibes, while also designed to be played on mobile. What put me off of it was the huge focus on PvP though.
@PsychePlays From what I've heard on Mastodon, "Everything Is Going to Be OK" is in that category of games and has been getting a lot of positive response.
@slamhaus You could try Mastodon, it's similar ish, ad free and not owned by any one entity - instead ran by multiple different communities. You could find a server matching your interests, like one for musical artists, to have a relevant local timeline. Servers are interconnected too.
@Phoenix_DownXIV There are other options, like to not use Twitter (although it's difficult not to, to stay in touch with certain people). Been using Mastodon, it's quite neat imo but definitely different feel than Twitter. Come to think of it, I wonder if anyone's made a FFXIV-centric instance.
@lucanaii@duolingo There is the usual learning sentences to use them, but the less common learning sentences so you don't accidentally say them could potentially be useful too
@lucanaii Sounds like poor planning if there's no access whatsoever. Can you complain to the city about lack of accessibility and/or get a more specific timeline of roadworks and the hopefully planned stages?
