I interviewed Rich Brian! Those who know me will know that I'm a major fangirl for the rapper. I first came across his music in the beginning of Covid-19 when Shreya added Drive Safe into our shared playlist. The rest is History (ha). Thank you @richbrian!

There should be more studies on how emotions cause cancer. Every cell of your body “listens” to your thoughts. Chronic self-hate and self-sabotage build up and they manifest as physical self-destruction over time.
I wish there’s more info on how the body and the mind are more linked than you think. Like how sadness and anxiety can be “stored” in parts of the body. How happiness aids digestion. So on
sure people start getting engaged, married and having kids, BUT something nobody truly prepares you for about your late twenties is how many of your friends start running marathons
I'll never forget Michelle Obama saying we need to "plan our joy" in an interview with Oprah. I'm so intentional about planning dates with friends, self care appointments, fitness classes, and trips now. I always have something to look forward to. Keeps me excited about life.
My dream is to get to the point in my career where editors reach out with emails like "here's this super dumb/random thing that I think you'd be perfect to write about"
@Emily_Krivograd@thisisinsider@WritersofColor @womenwriterswin I live in Hong Kong/ Canada/ UK and was just in LA for a week! My friends and I have videos of me freaking out when I dragged them to Target and Trader Joes. It's honestly the highlight of the trip.
Before we had the term “situationship,” Toni Morrison gave us two of the most brutal paragraphs ever written in the English language about the subject:
McDonald's have released a new campaign, and i'm MCLOVIN it 🍔🍟
(trust me, it's iconic)
in a tweet by McDonald's Head of Social Media, @HuinGuillaume, the new 'As Featured In' campaign shows "McDonald's as a universal language"
it's McDonald's *biggest* campaign to date, and the idea is simply that: "everyone has a McDonald's order, even in the fictional world."
👉 side note but Guillaume is a legend, and if you're not following him, you should be!
the campaign features iconic scenes from Friends, Clueless, The Office, The Longest Yard, Space Jam, The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift (and more) , as well as a *new* look at season two of Loki.
it's rare to see and experience a campaign that will be so universally understood, and it's campaigns like this that make me fall in love with marketing even more
but more importantly... what's YOUR McDonald's order?! 👇💭
never underestimate the power of a good flailing period; when i quit corporate in 2020 i spent many months moseying about, staring into the void, trying new things/failing, etc. the lessons i learned in that time period were invaluable. doing nothing is not doing nothing

Fisherman moored on boats during Hong Kong's inclement weather created a vibrant cuisine laced with garlic, chillies and fermented black beans. @DorisLamMS https://t.co/d4TNRtBY2G
