As you all know, we are trying to improve literacy across the whole academy, and I’m pleased to announce that the PE department have even started a Book Club. It’s early days yet but almost all of them have managed to find Wally without any help.

Hi all,
Next term, some of our SLT staff will take exams to be awarded the Professionalism In School Standards certificate. We would like some middle managers to consider this, too. The more management we have taking the PISS, the more we can improve as an Academy.

Hi all
We have created a new SLT post for Mr Johnson in Geography. From September, he’ll be Teacher of Humanities Incorporating Curriculum Knowledge Organisation. This is a new role but we hope, over time, to attract more even more THICKOS to the Geography Department.

Hi all,
We have a new starter on Monday. A Managed Move from St Hilda’s Institute of Technology. As you know, we have an arrangement with them, so it’s not the first time we have taken a SHIT pupil. He wont be in uniform and is allowed to wear jewellery, swear and vape.

@MrJoePe @WannaTeachPE Elimination. Short ‘track’ with cones. Two lap intro. Eliminate the back person at the end of lap 2. Keep eliminating every lap (same as Cycling velodrome). Rest and discuss tactics and pacing (lesson objective). Race again sort them by ability/finishing positions from round 1.

Please remember that, after several hundred parental complaints, we are no longer using the Written Teacher Feedback stamps and have replaced them with the new Feeding Forward Strategies stamp. Please collect one from the office on Monday.
