@michbro85 @AndyJStephenson Big increases that were for short term fluid reduction were 0.7 then 0.8 and then finally 1ml, our vets never drained fluid manually as said would only offer a short term relief x

@michbro85 @AndyJStephenson Ah, it was the frusol they used to adjust not the vetmedin, sorry! Zippy used to start to breath heavily and her head would bob when it was time to get a checkup asap. Only used to take a couple of days for it to settle down on increased frusol 😊 feel better soon Nibs xxx

@AndyJStephenson @michbro85 Zippy was on the meds the longest. More than once fluid would build up in her abdomen so vet would give her a high does of vetmedin for a week or so until it was back under control then tweak the dose back down. Each time the maintenence dose ended up being a little higher xx

@Lenea_andersen @piggusbiggus I used to have a skinny with an ongoing dental issue and a penchant for pea flakes! I found if you pop some into hot water (not quite boiling but nearly) they absorb quite a lot of water. Might be helpful for getting a little extra fluid in x

@michbro85 Has nibs started frusol? My heart pig got very soft poop when started frusol. I cut out the greens & sough vet advice. Monitored closely & offered water regularly until it settled down on it's own. Defo check with vet before giving any other meds in case of contraindication x

Hi @GuineaDad! We're Zippy, Yogurt, Waffle & Dumpling. We have swanky digs made by PigDad that PigMum cleans every day. She uses disposable pads under fleece, which we've told her is very bad for the environment! Do you do your fancy pig & planet friendly liners in custom sizes?x
