I finished! Cover to cover in like 2 weeks maybe. Well in the bible app, but I finally read the whole bible. NLT made it a much easier read. I just started reading again, I’ll probably read it three times at first so I can talk somewhat intelligently about it. Then I’ll tackle the Old Testament. I find my spirits are up daily just from reading it. So much knowledge I left in the book, better late than never! 😬

I’ve had an awakening and it has led me back to my faith in Christ. I was baptized at a very young age and attended church on Sunday up until my early teenage years. I never read the bible or learned how to pray during those years. Then events in my life led me astray. I’m now 57 and just now reading the NLT version of the New Testament cover to cover for the first time. I’m currently in Peter 2. How do I pray correctly? And can I while I’m still struggling with sin?

We did the Lord’s Prayer before bed with the “now I lay me down to sleep one growing up. Probably until we were 11-12 years old and mom let us start doing them on our own . So I know those by heart. Idk why I didn’t think of the lords prayer before now but thank you! I still feel like I have no business praying for help with certain things. Can I pray for help to stop sinful behaviors?
