@gdead I picked up a chinese lathe off CL once that went out the backdoor of the Grizzly factory, was officially labeled "Lateh". Still a decent machine for the price though.
@Squelchtone@FrenchKey_fr Locksporters can already clone MCS keys for quite some time, so there's that. My vote is for Intellikey. Because it's antiquated and who would bother to hack it ;-).
@Foone Apparently even as recently as the early 2000's some union shops had rules requiring time cards be entered on mechanical key-punches. I never saw one of those myself, but some shops were apparently paying big blue $$$$ to keep this equipment operational. 3 digit machine-types!
@Foone I once knew someone who serviced the 7090. Apparently a shortcut for troubleshooting the memory system involved setting a pocket transistor AM radio inside the cabinet and listening for a certain audio pattern. If something was wrong it would audibly stand out.
