This blog is an hands-on introduction to Stateful Switch-over/High-Availability using Cisco 9800 wireless controllers. How to configure SSO? How does Switch-over work?

@samuel_clements@TheWLAN@Cisco Very compelling to get analytics from the WLC and its APs on the cloud! While keeping system control and customization with local WLCs. Like it!
@mrTeigen@baldwifiguy Thanks heap, was spending quite some time on this, hope that they will bring it in the future. Netconf pull Python script with cron, directly to influxedb, skipping telegraf, would work? That's my plan for the we :)
@baldwifiguy@mrTeigen Hi Kjetil, did you find a fix for this grpc issue? I've got exactly the same issue on 9120 EWC mode, 17.3.3 or 16.12.4, and could not figure out any working configuration as on the 9800.
@troyhunt@Ubiquiti You ve checked proxy arp already, time for an over-the-air pcap. Is the relay still sending ARP (expiry on proxy ARP AP could be longer), or group key may have issues on the relay (changing at every other new client roaming on AP) which manages bcast traffic (GARP)?
@HeyEddie Old Symbol, then Motorola, then Zebra. Min 5 to 10 years old, and officially retiring 1/12/20. After a decade of falling on the floor, Ive seen avg RSSI getting worst over time for many units. Good idea to colour-code and take the worst units out of prod.
@GjermundRaaen You're welcome Gjermund! Ive just got to make a 9800-CL to work on a 9100 too! Nice new OS to learn, although I need to understand how it is structured behind all those tags :)
