[Paul O Keefe @pokeefe1]

Overwhelming sense of relief not jubilation. A disgraceful season that can't be forgotten just because they got away with it. Totally unacceptable and heads must roll this summer amongst the hierarchy. This can never happen again.

[Harvey 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇫🇰 @THFCHarvey18]

This is genuinely brilliant. Finally someone big like Gary Neville calling out everyone who needs to be called out and is fully sticking up for our fans. This is what we need.

[Alkoholfreiday @Alkoholfreiday]

It's #BHWEEKEND which means its #giveaway time!! 🍻

@mitch_fretton @ErinMcGuire_10 Such an awful decision to go after de zerbi… read the fucking room!
After getting it wrong with Frank and then worse with Tudor.. this is a chance to get the fans on board and appoint a spurs man until poch returns… but no…

[terry @dot2dotman]

@michaeltech100 We can but wish!

[terry @dot2dotman]

@pokeefe1 @frosticals @SkySportsNews So you’re saying there’s a chance!! 😍😂

[terry @dot2dotman]

@AndrewChapman @pokeefe1 @frosticals @SkySportsNews But he might actually get the fans behind him and convince the players they aren’t shit and can actually play football (clutching at straws, I know)

[terry @dot2dotman]

@pokeefe1 @frosticals @SkySportsNews Does he have to if it’s temporary?

[terry @dot2dotman]

@pokeefe1 @frosticals @SkySportsNews Any chance we actually get rid and get glen in Paul? 🤞

#THFC league positions since 2011-2012:

2011-12: 4th (Redknapp)
2012-13: 5th (AVB)
2013-14: 6th (AVB, Sherwood)
2014-15: 5th (Pochettino)
2015-16: 3rd (Pochettino)
2016-17: 2nd (Pochettino)
2017-18: 3rd (Pochettino)
2018-19: 4th (Pochettino)
2019-20: 6th (Pochettino, Mourinho)
2020-21: 7th (Mourinho, Mason)
2021-22: 4th (Nuno, Conte)
2022-23: 8th (Conte, Stellini, Mason)
2023-24: 5th (Postecoglou)
2024-25: 17th (Postecoglou)
2025-26: 14th (Frank)

Key points:

- Tottenham have the lowest net spend (£29 million) in the #PL from 2014-2019. Pochettino achieves an average league position of 3.4 during this stretch.

- Tottenham become the first #PL club in history not to make a summer signing on August 9, 2018, and they subsequently do not sign anyone in January 2019 either. Pochettino finishes 4th.

- No players signed from 2/1/18 until 7/2/19 (516 days), which largely contributes to the lackluster league positions in 19/20 and 20/21.

- Moved into THS in April 2019.

- After signing zero players in 516 days, Pochettino reaches a #UCL final. He is sacked 171 days later.

- Clear drop off after Pochettino was sacked in November 2019.

- 2023/24 financial results show that #THFC report a 42% wage to turnover ratio, by far the lowest in the #PL. Subsequent league positions following this report are 17th and 14th.

- Failure to address key areas in the squad (lack of squad depth to cope with injuries) contributes to the steady decline in league position from 22/23 to present.

- #THFC go through 8 managers in 7 seasons from 19/20 to present. 5 of the 8 managers play defensive football.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

It’s not bad luck, it’s pure negligence. We deserve to be where we are. The situation will not change until we do.
