my schedule for the week! on my alt account i 1CCd (beat without continuing!) the hardest shmup i've ever beaten by a wide margin, so i want to go back over the recording on my main channel! i also hope we can finally beat Pocket Zaurus, one of the hardest platformageddon games!
https://t.co/uVOIAnU3o2 okay, here goes nothing! we're doing an all-day marathon featuring deathless runs of every castlevania game from 14 different players! some of these are first-time wins and some are grandmaster challenge runs! there's also a game starring me at the start!
i've been off twitter for most of the month and i don't think that'll change any time soon, but! i wanted to mention that for the sake of my sanity i'll need to write some of the Classicvania bios after Halloween! your runs are still being verified and approved, though!
basically been on bsky exclusively since the 16th and i understand the skepticism as to whether this boom will last but i have to say i have never seen one of these last more than a couple hours before. i have felt absolutely no desire to come back to twitter this time
there's an AI loop you can hit in dodonpachi that frees you up to just get up and do whatever you want for as long as you want. which is not something you should encourage in my case
https://t.co/uVOIAnUBdA i'm live! i'm going to be making as many Classicvania cards as i can (no idea how long it'll take!) and then i'll move on to some Castlevania gameplay of my own after that if there's time!
When IIDX16 CS came out, I hosted a launch party. My friends and I took turns posing for the camera wearing the Empress Hat and holding the Empress Jewel (pink gem paperweight), and we set up both the Empress disc + Premium Best disc on two TVs.
@ohfivepro@MURPHAGATOR i don't think tone-neutral warnings of upcoming difficulty spikes usually come after a player has credit fed an entire game or gotten all the way up to the last boss. they're also rarely punctuated with the Kappa or LUL emotes
streaming has taught me that some people have very strange and wrongheaded ideas about hard video games and "talent" that manage to simultaneously place out-of-proportion importance on video games while also managing to be insulting to the people who choose to get good at them
