It’s going to be interesting to see what percentage they’re going to allow you to purchase based on what you’re offering to buy. Good luck to everyone, I’ll catch you on the other side. Hopefully it won’t be too high to get in right now. This is the company taking us into the 21st-century
@SpaceX I went into my E*TRADE account last week, SpaceX was not listed, I was approved for IPO purchasing , I went there today and it says the IPO pre-purchase is now closed. Has anyone else had a similar issue with E*TRADE?
Is it open anywhere else to get in on the IPO?
@SpaceX I’m so bummed, I checked on Friday. Nothing was there under trading/IPO’s. I checked over the weekend. Nothing was there. I wish E*TRADE would’ve been more clear about this one, especially since it’s going to be so large.
Doug Ellin, creator of the hit show 'Entourage,' is disgusted by LA's decline in recent years and says he publicly supports Spencer Pratt in his campaign for LA mayor.
Ellin's Beverly Hills home was burglarized by masked intruders, and he shares that while 5 years ago he didn't have to lock his door, now he has "15 cameras," "2 German Shepherds," and "3 legal guns."
"I know they were animals because they invaded my house. I know I don't care what their excuses are, like a lot of you f*cking care. I know invaders of homes should get 20 years...Everyone in my neighborhood has got the same problem: they're f*cking all putting cameras and high-end security guards because we're all getting broken into. It's not made up, it's not false, and this city has collapsed in the last 5 years. There is no f*cking denying it unless you have an agenda, and I don't know what that is," Ellin says.
"But, you say, 'Oh, Spencer Pratt has no experience!'...What experience did Karen Bass have?...We want to fix this place because we don't want to be forced out. I'm one of the people who made this city look great! I did it for years. I glorified it. I meet people all the time that moved here because of the show that I f*cking created—and they hate it here now. HATE!"
Ellin's comments appear to be, at least in part, directed at the LA Times, who recently published an article, "L.A. is safer than it's been in decades, but crime is an issue dominating the mayor's race."
For his part, Pratt shared Ellin's video to his Instagram Story last week. Safety has been the central theme of Pratt's mayoral campaign.
5. Weaker ties to marriage, religion, and community
A recurring finding is that conservatives are more likely to be married, attend religious services, and belong to churches or congregations; liberals are less so, and young liberal women least of all. Surveys from think tanks and academic researchers suggest that marriage and religious involvement, on average, are associated with higher life satisfaction, stronger social support, and lower loneliness.[cosm.aei +3]
Analyses focusing on young women find that lower rates of marriage and churchgoing among liberal women are linked to more loneliness and less sense of meaning or direction, which in turn relate to worse reported mental health. One multivariate analysis estimated that differences in negative thinking and in integration into institutions like marriage and religion together explained about half of the happiness gap between liberal and conservative young women.[ifstudies +1]
6. Help‑seeking, diagnosis, and culture
Another piece is not “who suffers” but “who gets diagnosed and talks about it.” Liberal women are more likely to seek therapy, pursue psychiatric evaluation, and be open about mental‑health struggles, while conservatives and religious communities often have stronger stigma about formal diagnoses. That means some of the gap in “has a doctor ever told you…” may be a gap in medicalization and openness rather than actual distress alone.[equityresearch.tufts +4]
At the same time, some scholars worry that certain progressive spaces encourage people to interpret ordinary struggles through a clinical lens, or to view themselves as fragile. That can increase self‑labeling (“I have a disorder”) and make it harder to use coping strategies that emphasize agency and resilience.[thefp +2]
7. So what’s really going on?
Pulling this together, most serious observers think the pattern is real but multi‑cause:
•Young liberal women are at the crossing point of several high‑risk trends: heavy social media use, higher LGBT identification, more focus on injustice, and less integration into stabilizing institutions like marriage and religion.[betterconflictbulletin +7]
•Their social and political environment encourages them to pay attention to threats and injustice, which is morally understandable but psychologically taxing, especially when combined with catastrophizing online culture.[cosm.aei +5]
•They are also more likely to seek and receive diagnoses and to describe their struggles openly, which can raise reported rates without necessarily meaning they are uniquely “broken” compared with everyone else.[usatoday +3]
None of this justifies mocking or pathologizing “liberal women” as a group. A more constructive reading is: this demographic is showing high distress; we should care why and what can help them – whether that is healthier social‑media habits, more empowering narratives, stronger in‑person communities, or better access to good therapy.[magazine.columbia +4]
If you’re thinking about this in terms of what people can actually do in their own lives, would you rather dig into practical ways individuals (of any politics) can protect their mental health in this environment, or are you more interested in the political‑culture angle and what it says about left vs. right?
Researchers see multiple overlapping reasons why young liberal women, especially white liberal women, report more mental‑health problems and distress than other groups.[americansurveycenter +7]
1. Social media and “catastrophizing”
Several psychologists (Haidt, Twenge, others) argue that the timing matters: youth mental health starts dropping around 2012, when smartphones and constant social media use became universal. Liberal teenage girls and young women spend more time on social media than almost any other demographic, often 5+ hours a day, which is strongly associated with anxiety, depression, and self‑harm.[betterconflictbulletin +1]
Analysts say heavy social‑media use exposes them to more online conflict, news of injustice, and social comparison, and encourages “catastrophizing” – viewing the world and their own situation in extreme, all‑bad terms. This style of thinking (catastrophizing, black‑and‑white thinking, emotional reasoning) is exactly what cognitive‑behavioral therapy tries to correct, so soaking in it all day can worsen mood and anxiety.[ifstudies +2]
2. Political pessimism and focus on injustice
Studies note that liberals in general, and liberal young women in particular, spend more time worrying about problems like inequality, racism, climate change, gun violence, and threats to democracy. Columbia researchers, for example, suggest that liberal teens may feel especially alienated and distressed when they see political developments (e.g., Trump’s election, Supreme Court decisions) going against their values.[magazine.columbia +2]
Some commentators argue that parts of progressive culture reward “worst‑case” interpretations of events: highlighting oppression, fragility, and systemic danger as a way to get attention or drive change. That does not mean these issues are not real; it means constantly framing them in apocalyptic or helpless terms can, over time, make people feel more anxious, depressed, and powerless.[thefp +4]
3. Gender, #MeToo, and threat perceptions
Young women in general report more anxiety and depression than young men, and liberal young women are the most pessimistic about how women are treated in society. One analysis from the American Survey Center points to the #MeToo movement as especially salient for young liberal women, changing how they view men, relationships, and the prevalence of sexual harassment and assault.[americansurveycenter +1]
In that survey, less than one‑third of young liberal women said they were satisfied with how women are treated in the U.S., and dissatisfaction with women’s status was strongly tied to feeling pessimistic about their own lives. This link between “women are treated badly” and “my own future will go badly” is much weaker among conservative young women and older women, so liberal young women are carrying more perceived threat and mistrust into daily life.[americansurveycenter]
4. Identity, LGBT status, and minority stress
Young liberal women are far more likely than conservative or older women to identify as LGBT. One study cited by the same researchers notes that nearly four in ten young liberal women identify as LGBT, around ten times the rate among older liberals. LGBT youth as a group face higher rates of bullying, family conflict, discrimination, and internal conflict, and a large national survey found nearly half of LGBTQ youth had seriously considered suicide.[americansurveycenter]
This “minority stress” is layered on top of everything else: social media stress, political pessimism, and normal young‑adult challenges. So part of the “liberal women 18–30” effect is really “many more LGBT youth in that group,” which is a known high‑risk population for mental‑health problems even apart from politics.[manhattan +2]

🚨 BOMBSHELL EXPOSURE: ELON MUSK JUST AMPLIFIED THE MASSIVE DEEP STATE EXPLOSION!
New Inspector General report confirms the FBI secretly embedded 26 PAID CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANTS to spy, provoke, and FULLY STAGE the entire “insurrection” — 4 of them stormed INSIDE the Capitol, 13 more breached restricted zones. That’s OVER A DOZEN federal plants actively in the “riot” while ZERO faced charges!
They had clear advance intel it was “gonna get hairy” but FBI HQ ordered a stand-down, lied straight to Congress under oath, and buried everything before the election. Now Wray is suddenly resigning as the entire hoax collapses!
This was NEVER about “democracy” — it was a calculated trap to frame Trump supporters, railroad Patriots, push the second impeachment, and steal the Republic!
The STORM is dragging every last Jan 6 lie into the light in real time — they’re PANICKING HARD and we SEE IT ALL!
FOLLOW ME, THE NEXT DROP WILL BE SHOCKING.
HERE WE GO 🚨 California Democrats are making a move to rig the Governor’s race
Democrats are putting forth a new ballot initiative to repeal the “Top 2” candidate rule that takes the 2 leading candidates, because the 2 leading candidates are Republicans
“A new ballot initiative has been filed to repeal the state's top-two primary and return it to a party-based primary where voters like you would only vote for candidates in your own registered party”
The man behind this is Steve Maviglio, he's the former communications director for Governor Gray Davis
He's not some random nobody. Steve Maviglio a longtime Democratic insider, he’s a top Democrat operative
He filed paperwork with the state to change the rules of the game now that Democrats are losing
Keep in mind, this “Top 2” system is the same system that locked out Republicans for 15 years
But now that it’s going to lock Democrats out they’re turning to their rigged elections to maintain power and change the rules
Elon just endorsed it.
Gad Saad dropped the hammer on Fox this morning.
We now live in a world where:
- Rape victims get less sympathy than their rapists
- Homeowners get less than the squatters breaking in
- American vets get less than illegal migrants
- Repeat felons with 186 charges get 200 more “chances” because “society made them do it”
This isn’t kindness.
This is suicidal empathy.
Universities spent decades teaching our judges, leaders, and elites that personal agency is a myth if you check the right oppression boxes. So criminals become victims, victims become bigots for complaining, and the whole system rots from the inside.
