BREAKING:
Dennis Porter will be announcing another ‘Strategic Bitcoin Reserve’ bill introduction next week. The dominoes are falling.

My prediction: no more 4 year cycles.
Biggest drawdown from here to 1 million is 50%.
We pass gold's market cap in 6 years.
Gold actually enters a deep bear market as this happens.
We don't know year by year how BTC prices will go.
A lot of people seem to think 2025 up huge, 2026 down, 2027 up small, etc.. The "cycle" hypothesis.
But let's look at the Gold Prices after the 2004 GLD ETF
A completely different pattern.
99% of investors are unable (or unwilling) to accept that long term Bitcoin is destined to become the foundation of the new financial system.
It seems too bizarre. Too far fetched.
So they focus on the short term, which is inherently unpredictable.
This does not end well.
Chamath is so wrong. Google’s Willow, which has 105 physical qubits in a superconducting QC design ran an artificial quantum circuit design benchmark. They haven’t run Shor’s algorithm which is the issue for Bitcoin public-private key pair wallets and for our entire traditional financial infrastructure.
Thousands of logical qubits, which means of order a million physical qubits, are needed to crack 256-bit ECDSA signatures due to extreme noisiness, especially found in this superconducting qubit based technology. They do have a better error suppression approach that scales all the way to 7x7 now.
There are multiple quantum-safe alternatives for public-private key pairs already approved by NIST. In some years from now probably 5, worst case more likely 10, holdings will need to be moved to quantum-safe cryptographic wallets.
Attacking the chain itself cannot be done by Shor’s, that requires a different algorithm, Grovers for hashing, one could have quantum mining at some far future date.
Willow has run neither a Shor’s benchmark nor a Grover’s benchmark. No QC has factored with Shor’s a number larger than 21 (sic). No QC has run Grover’s above 4 qubits from what I can see.
Their work on reducing quantum noise and extending entanglement times to several tens of microseconds looks laudable.
At @OrionX_net, with our HPC and supercomputing backgrounds, we have been following quantum computing for two decades.
Follow @bensig on this, Ben, correct me if I have said something wrong here.
There is a 1 hour video on YouTube of Martin Shkreli explaining why he thinks shorting MSTR is a good idea, and why Bitcoin serves no purpose any more.
The premise is that DOGE will fix everything, so no need for an inflation hedge.
Plus Saylor "bought 10 Billion of BTC" but the price didn't go up.
Cornelius Vanderbilt, like Saylor encouraged people to short his stock.
In July of 1863 a group of corrupt New York City councilmen organized a “bear raid” on the Harlem Railroad which Vanderbilt owned 10 percent of.
They voted against allowing the Harlem to run upstate on Broadway, and secretly shorted the stock, crashing the price from 83 to 72 in a single day.
What they didn’t know was that Vanderbilt was buying at the bottom and that he was the one lending the shares.
Despite a confederate victory, the shares started rising. Nobody could cover their shorts.
When all was said and done Vanderbilt completely controlled the Harlem and had doubled his net worth.
On July 3, the Union won Gettysburg. The Harlem would become the cornerstone of Vanderbilt’s railroad empire.
Don’t bet against Vanderbilt.
Don’t bet against Saylor.
