DotMaps was a project I created over a year ago originally as a 1/1 art project that explores what could be done on eth with SVGs. I hit some early roadblocks with the limits of solidity and deploying them to mainnet as a fully on-chain project but I still really loved the art that was created by the solidity code so I decided to release the resulting art as images using manifold. Now with the emergence of ordinals I am exploring the possibility of releasing dotmaps as an ordinal collection using the patterns established by @OnChainMonkey for collections and provenance in inscriptions. Excited to see how this all plays out using both eth and btc chains to their fullest potential.
