The Dutch government is running TV ads asking citizens to limit their electricity usage between 4pm and 9pm because the grid might collapse.

This is what happens when ideology replaces engineering. The Netherlands tore down its stable, gas-based system and replaced it with intermittent wind and solar that surge and fade with the weather.

They provide no inertia, no stored energy and no steady baseline. And modern grids can't cope. Lines are overloaded. Companies can't connect. Homes and EV charges are being turned away. And operators are even shutting down wind farms to avoid surging blackouts.

The cost to the Dutch economy is estimated to be 35 billion euros a year. And growing.

The promise was clean, abundant power. The reality? One of Europe's richest nations is now effectively rationing electricity.

He gets to spend his time playing games at taxpayers' expense, while Henry will never get to graduate from university, get married, and have a family of his own.

Vickrum Digwa deserves the death penalty, not leisure time.
